Georgian pattern kilt button. An original 1820’s waistcoat button.

Manufactured on the Society’s behalf, certainly in the 1820s and probably for the Royal Celtic Society’s uniform which was created for the ceremonial role our forebears played in George IV’s groundbreaking visit to Edinburgh in 1822.

Size Approx. 19mm x 19mm

Including Agate jewellery, Scottish hallmarked sterling silver, vintage glengarry badges, plaid brooches, kilt pins and bracelets. With jewellery from classic Edinburgh and Glasgow makers like Robert Allison and Thomas Kerr Ebbutt and provincial Scottish silversmiths.
