In the modern style as worn by the Scottish regiments but in one of our range of Scottish wool keepers tweeds with toorie. We will match the toorie and back ribbon as closely as we can to the tweed.

The Scottish tweeds come in two weights the medium 16oz Kirkton weight ( 539-579 code range ) and heavy weight Ettrick & Glenlyon 21oz ( 850-887 range and 2101 – 3822 range ).

Modern MOD military pattern with crown size – Approx 10″ x 7 1/2″ across the crown ( depending on hat size )

Great for a day out on the hill.

Put measuring tape around your head, just above your eyebrows. Measurements can be in cms or inches – refer to the table below ( US customers please check your sizes on our chart as US sizes may vary compared to the UK size charts )

At the House of Labhran we offer the finest classic quality wool Scottish Glengarries, Balmorals, Kilmarnock Bonnets, Lowland Bonnets, Atholl Bonnets, Tam O Shanters. All our hats are 100% made in Scotland by Robert Mackie and have been since 1845.

Our glengarry hats and bonnets are as supplied to the Highland regiments and made in the finest wool, silk bands and silk ribbon tails. The hats are all hand finished by highly skilled and experienced craftspeople. Over the years we have worked on special orders for films, television and private clients. We have supplied WW1 pattern glengarries to re enactor groups, Hollywood films and a range of bespoke patterns for pipe bands and associations.
