Antique Circa 1905 Scottish Provincial Oban Robert Drummond & Son Silver Tea Spoons
Fine Edwardian antique Scottish provincial silver tea spoon set. With a twist to the handles and a thistle end. Robert Drummond & Sons operated from 5, Murray Place, Stirling ( circa 1860 ), and 3, Queen’s Park, Oban. Robert Drummond & Son of 5 Murray Place, Stirling registered a mark RD & S in a shield shape at Sheffield Assay Office in April 1904. This is the mark shown on the set of tea spoons along with the OBAN town mark. The original box is with this set but the box is damaged.
