Lovat Velvet Kilt Coatee – Classic velvet coatee is a tailored formal jacket. It is made using premium quality velvet and has a stand up collar, soft fold lapels. With plain cuffs silk covered buttons and four silk covered buttons front fastening. Jetted pockets and two back vents.
As worn by Brigadier Simon Christopher Joseph Fraser, 15th Lord Lovat and 4th Baron Lovat, DSO, MC, TD, JP, DL when he married on 10 October 1938. The same style is currently worn by his grandson Simon Christopher Joseph Fraser, 16th Lord Lovat and 5th Baron Lovat (born 13 February 1977) has been the chief of Clan Fraser of Lovat since the death of his grandfather in 1995.
